With nearly 300 US listed ETFs and over $600 billion in assets, BlackRock's iShares ETFs is perched atop the ETF industry. iShares offers investors a wide range of products from low cost, broad-based core ETFs to more complex, fundamentally weighted ETFs and just about everything in between. On our most recent radio broadcast, BlackRock's Global Head of Exchange Traded Product Research, Dodd Kittsley, joined us to talk about iShares' leadership position and discuss where ETF investors have been placing their money recently. We also touched on some of the key drivers of ETF growth and the prediction from iShares that US ETF assets could more than double in the next five years to exceed $3.5 trillion.

In our weekly market update, we looked back at last week's decision from the Federal Reserve to forgo "tapering" and keep the money printing press revving full speed. For those investors still trying to figure out who the Fed is and exactly what it is that they're doing, we also offered a quick crash course on monetary policy. In our ETF spotlight segment, given our focus on iShares ETFs, we examined the iSharesBond 2018 Corporate Term ETF (ticker IBDB). If you are concerned about rising interest rates, target maturity date bond ETFs such as this can offer an alternative way to help manage your bond portfolio. Learn more about IBDB by visiting
