The graphite industry has been dominated by the Chinese for years. well that is until now. Other countries such as Germany and Brazil have long been able to produce the spherical graphite but have failed to advantageously commercialize the product for its sell, which is essential for cell phone and electric vehicle use.

But with the emergence of junior mining companies in the west, China's strong hold on the market is starting to crumple. The graphite industry is now beginning to lean its shoulder on Canada and the US for developing environmentally safe production of spherical graphite methods like the one's Chinese companies have long used.

Because of the growing interest in this battery grade material for such products as cellular phones and battery operated vehicles, companies that can effectively produce and commercialize this brand of graphite, will soon be indispensable to the world as we know it.

The chief limitation of working with graphite is that it requires large flake of +80 mesh and 94%C- an expensive product trading at $1800-2200/tonne which most companies see no financial justification to use spherical graphite production mainly because of the losses (up to 75%) associated with its production.

However, Graphite Corp views this as beneficial because of it new technology and production plan.

Graphite Corp is a publicly traded company, currently trading on the OTC market. Its primary purpose is the exploration and evaluation of developmentally grade graphite deposits in the United States. Graphite Corp. has positioned itself as an emerging leader in the graphite industry. The Nevada based company is currently trading at 0.86, up 0.03 (3.61%) increase on the OTC market, with a volume of 1,488,340. With recent positive press releases, Graphite Corp is poised to climb and could reach $1.00 or more.

    What is Graphite

Graphite and diamonds are related as they form the only two natural carbon polymers. Graphite is a two dimensional planar crystal and diamonds are a three dimensional structure. Graphite is an exceptional conductor of heat and electricity and offers the highest natural strength and stiffness of any material with stability even at temperatures in excess of 3,600°C. Highly resistant to chemicals and other sources of wear, it is one of the lightest of all strengthening agents and provides excellent natural lubrication.
