Individual investor with a Top down approach. I don't believe in diversification. Spreading your chips across the table is senseless to me, when based on good old economic fundamentals only certain areas of the market are poised to benefit in certain stages of the economic cycle.

Dow dips down to 9800 briefly. Computer glitch? ... believe what you want. Could've been manipulation too. Who knows?

BTW ... it wouldn't be unheard of for fund manager buddies to all buy a ton of put options, then stop their program buying. And poof liquidity dries up, stock prices plummet, all the stops get knocked out driving down the market more, and they make a ton of money. Then turn the buying programs back on and scoop up shares on the cheap.

I'm not trying to be a conspiracy theorist. But I recall when this happened to DNDN, for one day it's stock dropped 50% to $11 or so and the very next moring traded right back up to $22. With no explanation whatsoever, it was all over CNBC.

The technology is there to accomplish this. Glitches. Bet on more of them. And if these glitches rattle investor confidence to much then watch the market tumble even more as investors leave the market.

    Just a thought,

    Stocks: DIA, SPY, XLF, XLK
