Portfolio Update For The Week Ending May 31, 2013

|Includes:Apple Inc. (AAPL), CSCO, JNPR, LDK, QCOM, S, SPWR, SUNEQ, TSL, VIAV

Exactly 5 months ago on December 31st, 2013, I started this blog with a simple mission: dispel the myth that trading equity options is risky. One of my personal and secret goals, that I only shared with my wife and a few of my friends, was to take $10,000 and make it into a million within 6 months...Even though I was confident that I will be able to reach my goal, honestly, I did not expect to do it in 5 months...

What makes me most happy about this experiment is that a number of folks out of the smattering few who follow my blog, duplicated my moves, in spite of my exhortations not to, and made money...(of course, I was not naive enough to believe that everyone will heed my advice and not follow my moves...LOL!)

In the remaining 26 days of this blog's life, I hope to continue to build on the Options2Wealth's current Net Asset Value (NYSE:NAV) and equally as important, preserve the Fund's capital...with the S&P and the Dow at all time highs, the markets are vulnerable to pulling back and consolidating, which means that a 10% correction in the S&P, Dow and the Nasdaq is definitely not out of the cards, especially the prevailing market fear that the Fed may start to slowly turn down its very liquid, monetary policy, the so-called "Quantitative Easing" spigot...I am closely monitoring the markets' distribution days: days when the indices go down and the trading volume (number of shares traded on the NYSE and the Nasdaq in a single day) is higher than the previous day's volume...

Now getting down to brass tacks: For the week ending May 31st, 2013, the Options2Wealth portfolio's NAV was $1,078,584.31, up 16.46% for the week. And since its inception on December 31st., 2012, my portfolio is up 10,685.80%. (As usual, a screen shot of the Excel spreadsheet is enclosed below...)

I recognize that for those who have not followed my portfolio's progress since Day 1, these numbers are so outlandish that they appear to be concocted...However, let me assure you that these numbers are very, very real...In fact, I personally am aware of one follower of this blog, who has, for the most part, replicated my moves here, albeit a little conservatively, and his portfolio is up more than 4000%...

It will be great to hear from all those who have taken the plunge and tried to replicate my moves here, their individual portfolio's performance(s) (just percentage appreciation, or, for that matter, depreciation...no need to share the actual dollar numbers...LOL!) since following my blog...Your responses will be greatly appreciated and they will help validate my Options2Wealth's NAV numbers posted here today...thank you in advance for sharing your personal progress...

DISCLAIMER: All postings made here are strictly for my personal record keeping and in no way, shape or form, am I even remotely suggesting others to follow my Buy and Sell moves. Trading options is definitely not for the faint of heart as one's portfolio can move up, or down, anywhere between 10%-30% during a single trading day. Feel free to follow my progress here, but PLEASE do not follow my moves. However, if, in spite of all my exhortations, should you decide to do so, be advised that you, and ONLY YOU will be responsible for any losses that you may suffer...In other words, the onus is strictly on you. On the other hand, if the move(s) result in a profit for you, I am open to discussing a split. ;-)

Disclosure: I am long LDK, SPWR, TSL, WFR.
