    Really??
    You are a physician,
A wealthy one by your own statements, also you are an analyst (from your description) THEN IDENTIFY YOURSELF---

You are using an eTrade account ?? LOL

All of the fresh new screen IDs commenting and complementing here and on other sites are quite a "nice touch" - It's happened before though...

There may be concern about the number of "analysts" allowed to be pumping and/or bashing with no regard for proper identification or regulatory disclosures here on Seeking Alpha, here is is some info:

    denebleo.sec.gov/tcr/

Anyone can report concerns about any business, financial professional or website (including content provided by entities allowed access thereof) using a quick form: 2-5 minutes is all it takes:

    denebleo.sec.gov/tcr/a...?

or one can send a letter-

I have traded options before with some success and have little doubt you can achieve this $2500 to $100K if you correctly predict the FDA panel. Having read your previous posts it appears to me you have done your research and i can't wait for you to prove all the naysayers wrong. I generally hate to follow or take advice i have seen on blogs because most authors have conflicts of interests or hidden agendas, but your transparency and openness in your trades give me confidence in your plays. Anyways good luck on this deathmarch and I look forward for your march from $100K to $1M

I totally respect your opinions and insight..I do think JAZZ may not pass the panel. but at the same time I dont agree with your opinion on the downfall of JAZZ it cannot go to $5. This is not a company like VVUS with no revenues. the ceo bought 7M $ yes 'M' worth at 8.40$ and an offering of 55M$ at that price. the panic low will be 7 at the most. Here is my strategy. I am going to sell 40 Sept puts of 7.50 strike for 40c each and use that 1600 dollars to buy 10 $11 Sept puts. I think this way if panel votes NO I win the $11 dolalr puts with no premium paid unless the price goes below 7.50(I will be able to sell those 7.50 put'ed shared if needed for 7.50 sometime next few days). The only disadvantage here is you need money to cover those sold puts. let me know what you think..? Also were you able to find it the stock is halted come Friday or will it open for trading during the market hours. Appreciate your response.

Author’s reply » Yes the stock will be halted all day from what I have been told. If you believe $7.50 is the bottom then your strategy is sound. Because its a PANEL and not a pdufa the downside is always going to be bigger in profits than the upside. When I say $5 i mean the $5 area. I do not think it will stay there long but it will definately drop that low. Dont be surprised either with a panel recommendation that this goes up 25% or so but closes red. It has runup considerably already. I told this to nriff buyers. Tomorrow (thursday) we could see a 5%-10% selloff down to $9-$10. A 35%-40% drop already puts it in the $5's. These panels usually have a 10%-35% upside and a 40%-80% downside from my own personal pool of statistics.

Author’s reply » Right, it certainly would not have been a bad idea to buy aug puts earlier today when it went to the high $11's because the final hour of trading tomorrow will get ugly. Quick little profit there but I'm on a mission to $100K with $2500 and only have 8 trades to do it in.

Just my curiosity, if we all know that Aug contracts will be worthless by end of tomorrow then who are these people purchasing Aug puts and for what?
There's gotta be some reason these buyers are risking their money that we do not know of.
Today more than 1600 put contracts were traded for strike price under $10.

Author’s reply » Right, any puts that are in the money by eod tomorrow will be "closed out" automatically (at least by all the brokerages I know of) and the holders will profit. It's likely that profit taking late tomorrow will drive this one under $10 and all buyers of those ridiculously cheap puts will have a quick profit. There's always the wild possibility too that the panel and jazz presentations are very short and trading is resumed very late and those puts become worth their weight in gold. I doubt it but it's going to be an exciting and wild Friday-Monday let me tell you. GL

I've been studying JAZZ stock price moves over the last year. I thought $12.50 was the number for tomorrow...maybe a little above.

I would like to revise that number as closer to $14.25 based upon my calculations. Close will be in the mid-$13 range.

Because of that it will be with glee that I watch JAZZ collapse into a fiery hell of tears bloodshed and regret. They can go drink off their losses over the weekend and tell their sob stories to anybody that will listen too drunk to realize the people listening are laughing at them inside. My bus to Canossa will be parked outside Jazz headquarters all weekend for bagholders that possess the decency to board.

    "Jerome,"

For one thing, at this point, I've sold all positions in JAZZ other than being long a few Dec $7.50 puts purchased as part of a hedge for more recent calls $10 calls which I doubled on, including the price of hedge.

I could even be short before the day is out- It's not your position or whether you make or lose money-that is at issue- It's the manner in which you are doing it that is at issue.

I would not have a problem with what you are doing if you were not lying about your identity and using various screen names here and elsewhere to "enhance" the project you are engaged in.

I have a problem with you saying you're an analyst and then providing no information regarding that claim as require by federal law.

You are not an MD- You are not an analyst. You did not predict the last 100 or so FDA decisions correctly.

To be fair, many others on this site claiming to be a PhD, MD or the such are engaged in similar activities, and when my attention is diverted by this, I have spoken out about it.

So here is an offer - I'll cease my activities of uncovering what you are if you simply come clean.

Offer the truth, I think people would be cool with things if you did that.

I hope you choose to do the right thing - as your present course will lead to embarrassment and perhaps more.

    Kind Regards;

A nutritionist specializing in Endocrinology or an MD specializing in trading biotech's? You spend an awful lot of time blogging and trading for a doctor. Where did you get that degree, University of Phoenix? Just admit you're a speculator/day trader who use the picture of a criminal to describe himself. The level of animosity from the rest of the message board trolls like yourself will go away, but you probably don't want that though. You like the attention. Good luck with your strategy.

My project seeks to end retailers suffrage and empower the individual. Did I ask anyone to mirror my trades? NO. Am I getting paid to do this? NO. Follow along and let's make some money. Looking at after hour actions, shorts were busy covering and providing a perfect opportunity for longs to dispose their position above $7 which is unreal.
If you have a short position or holing put contracts of JAZZ, wait until Thursday or Friday when dust settles down and PPS would eventually slide down to low $5 to mid $4 level. Thank me later.

Here are some comments from a blog on BIOD. what do you think:

BIOD is an incredible value right now. Unexpected news about the VIAject clinical trials has driven BIOD stock to extremely undervalued levels: Biodel went public 3 years ago and its shares traded at around $18. But in late 2008 the stock took a nose dive into a $4 range, when the company announced the preliminary efficacy results from its Phase III clinical trial of VIAject in India. The Indian trial results did not compare to the previously released trial results from patients in the United States and Germany.
Biodel identified probable causes for the variance in the data from India with the assistance of regulatory consultants and presented the results to the FDA in its pre-NDA briefing package. Among the causes noted in the briefing package, an identifiable subset of blood samples from patients in India was found to be compromised due to excessive heat exposure in transit to a central laboratory. These anomalous results from India killed the company’s stock price and it has never since recovered.
However, when the compromised samples are accounted for in the efficacy analysis, non-inferiority in both the Type 1 and Type 2 trials is achieved. Upon recommendation by FDA advisors, the company continued to file the NDA, accounting for the data from heat damaged samples. On March 1st 2010, Biodel announced that the FDA accepted for review the VIAject NDA. The FDA expects the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) action date for this NDA to be October 30, 2010.
I believe that FDA’s nod in accepting the NDA for review as after a pre-NDA discussion addressing the Indian data suggests that the FDA is willing to account for the anomalous data in the analysis. This is a positive sign for the FDA's belief in the primary outcome of the Phase III trail results demonstrating non-inferiority. Given the breadth of data with VIAject showing equivalancy (even accounting for the anomalous Indian data), its components being GRAS, and its 505(b)(2) route, I anticipate approval on the first try.
Wedbush Securities has continued to reiterate an OUTPERFORM rating on the stock, even after the Indian trial fiasco, and a fair value of $17. Wedbush also commented:
We believe a partnership announcement with $500 million in milestones and double-digit royalties could have a significant impact on BIOD valuation. With Biodel having what we believe is a differentiated mealtime insulin candidate potentially reaching peak sales over $900 million is trading at less than $100 million market capitalization.

Sorry for not spelling your name right on my previous post. Look forward to your detailed blog on ARNA. I still think there is something there with that one, but I will buy puts even if I don't decide to go 100% short. There is still risk involved with all these trades, but with what percent certainty were you on Jazz and what will it be for ARNA or BIOD? What are your thoughts on HGSI getting approved in October for Lupus? How about DNDN long term prospects with the approval of Provenge? Thanks.

Thanks for your insights. Much appreciated. I have a question for you. I have about 200 Sept $12.50 Call on QCOR with an average price of about $0.21 per contract. Should I stay the course and keep it? What is your play on QCOR since you mentioned you would play that before ARNA? Thank you in advance for your help.

Telsa, looking forward to you blog for ARNA, I too hold stock, about 1500 shares, not big, average price in of $3.75 right now...thinking of selling before panel and buying puts and maybe some calls......just in case they surprise and send stock soaring. If you were to do this what strikes might you look at, assuming panel was tomorrow and stock is where it is...gives me a good starting point.....your thoughts and honesty are appreciated.

Added 25 more JAZZ Sept puts today and feel very very confident that we will see a consistent drop to below $6 in a short term.
I'll admit, was bit surprised how well it was holding up above $7 but I had to put my $$ on what seems so obvious. Just can't pass on this kind of opportunity.

    Telsa,

Great to have u back pal. Congrats on JAZZ!!

I have a question about calls. What is the difference between covered calls and uncovered calls(naked)?I remember back when I would sell naked puts that I did not need to own the underlying instrument but I am having trouble getting my brain wrapped around the calls. How can I sell naked calls? Mr broker does not allow me to buy uncovered calls in one of the accounts I manage for my father. Can I be equally successful with your strategy with covered calls?

a covered call means you own the stock already and is the easiest to get credit approval from your broker to be authorized to write.

an uncovered call means you don't own the stock already and would have to buy it to cover an expiration in the money since you are obliged to sell the stock to the buyer if you don't buy the option back before expiration.

it's hard to say, but the logical thing would be that Jazz would have fallen a bit more and then start a steady trend downwards. Instead of that, Jazz fell 22% to 7.8 or so and today with a general market downtrend, it's come up 2%. As we all have seen this year, the market has been everything but logical and so are biotech stocks. One can't assure what's gonna happen for sure, but simply try to predict what's the most probable scenario and act accordingly.

    R.I.P. "Telsa Rowe"

I think that Seeking Alpha staffers have had it with "him", his aliases, his accusations of civil rights violations and threats of law suits.

I forecast a 95% chance that this "project" will not be actively promoted again.

If he actually continues to promote, I predict a 100% chance of the following issues continuing to obfuscate facts.

1- He shows no name or account number- not even partial ones. That way would have protected his ID but allowed some small verification of his identity and account activity.

2- He showed no account history. This to verify the same account being used and to track the funds in that account for obvious reasons.

My strong belief and hope is that we shall see no attempt to rectify the above and that Telsa "has left the building".

    So, as I wrote:

he said jazz to 5,yet close to 10 now . not even close.

he is now losing $ on his 11 puts.

any person with some financial skills would know jazz would not hit 5 as its existing non fibro business will make $1.1 in cashflow eps in 2010. why on earth would jazz trade for 5x 2010 eps?

jazz current non fm business is worth $10-12 (or 9-11x 2010 eps)

so even without jzp-6, jazz is still undervalued. folks, that is why jazz has rebounded so nicely from the initial sell off to 7.5 after the no vote. jzp-6 will eventually get approved as the drug works. rems will need to be changed but once it is, it will be approved.

absolutely, I am long 2500 shares, may sell some prior to panel and probably buy some protective puts to see where it all ends......I think the panel will be positive and then we have another month to play it out before FDA.

    All in my humble opinion.

Anyone know how I can get hold of him willing to offer some sort of reward.

$2500 to $100,000 blog 2/13 [View instapost] JAZZ- 100% in fact i was laughing when I first found out about what they were trying to do a year gone by. Was waiting for this one on my watchlist for a while now. Glad i can finaly cross it out. There are groups dedicated to eradicating hgb. People hate it. The president (Clinton at the time) had a ceremony adding it to the schedule 1 list for goddsake.

ARNA-100% the fda is going to be very fair to these obesity drug companies and approve none of them. At least for now.

In a conversation with the editor of SA, he mentioned that Telsa Rowe has not or has ever been banned from SA nor has he ever been sanctioned. In fact when I mentioned it to him, he didn't know anything about it. He said that people will sometimes create drama to gain attention.

    Just so you all know.

And I am impressed with his biotech calls and was really looking forward to him finishing his own challenge, though if he wants to turn $2500 into $100k he's going to have to bet the farm on every trade and not just half positions.

I'm hoping he's going to pull a Douglas MacArthur and pop back up after ARNA goes down the toilet. The way I got slammed by pumpers and turds after I wrote my negative prediction for ARNA, I don't blame him for laying low.

He's been right about VVUS, JAZZ and ARNA so far. His comments are full of common sense. I look forward to him coming back, but it seems to me that he's somewhere else, who knows...

    Telsa:

Nice call on ARNA. Another good call. Took a bunch of the table at 6 though so made out ok. Anyhow, have built a nice position in BIOD averaged in at about 3.90 a share. Should I sell at 5 today and buy it back cheaper or let it run and keep adding to it. Thoughts?

Tel$a - it took you this long to come up with this garbage? So, you want to start over - like a mulligan huh?

You people keep giving him congrats - he was right on JAZZ too - and lost money.

I'm not your mate and I'm not mocking - let's call it taking out the trash. Speaking of trash, how's your hedge fund doing?

You're big on congrats - you did the same on his JAZZ trade - then he and you left the building. Now that you're back and you thought his JAZZ trade was so wonderful - answer my question - how does it feel to know the panel conclusion and still lose money?

I saw no neck stuck out here - in fact, we all witnessed the head going into the shell then appearing like nothing ever happened. Ooops, JAZZ was wrong - let's start over and use some legal BS as an excuse.

Lastly, you're definition of 'flying' and mine are not the same.

T Rowe was dead on with Jazz. I made 140% in three days. I will follow what T. Rowe has to say any day. He knows what he is doing. Another one of his calls was ARNA. From 8 to below 2 in two days. Supply Side needs to get a life or some high blood pressure meds. Or maybe your jealous

    hepco,

He knew the panel vote and lost money. I call that dead. Oh wait, now he's saying he got out at 8.25. Oh wait, now he's starting his game over with new money. Oh wait, now his new bio is nothing like the one listed here. Oh wait, are you another of his usernames?

The call was dead nuts, just finding this for the first time. And he said ahead of time, close position on the 23rd. If money was lost it was due to not following the plan, or crooked option houses, LOL, take ur pick. Wallstreet doesnt like the little guys who can beat them at their naughty game. Like card counters in vegas, better to keep a low profile.
