For those following the I/P Engine v. Aol et al, aka the Vringo (VRNG) v Google (GOOG), patent infringement trial, following up on my report of Day 1's events and the minutes of Day 2 and 3, here are the minutes from Friday and today, days 4 and 5 of the trial:
Note, both of the Minutes above are only one page long, but say at their bottom that they are "continued on page 2." This appears to be incorrect, much like the Minutes for Day 3 incorrectly said there was a page 2 when there was not.
On Friday, the trial only went from 10am to noon, and the courtroom was closed for proprietary testimony, which is something I discussed was likely in my preview of the trial. Today, the trial went all day and included more presentation of Vringo's evidence and exhibits. It appears as though the trial is set to start up again at 9:30am on Tuesday. For more of my thoughts on the case, you can see my interview last night with StockTwits' Phil Pearlman.
Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours.
