Let me start by saying this, I like what Blackberry has done with the Z10. I have been hands on with the device and it's not bad, it is a big step forward for the company. There is a problem for BBRY, the Z10, and its BB10 OS though, the game has significantly changed. The manic days of smartphone releases are over, there are just too many really, really good smartphones out there.
BBRY bulls who think there is going to be a ground swell movement to the Z10 reminiscent of old iPhone days are deluding themselves. BBRY is not re-inventing the game, like Apple did, they are basically just trying to catch up.
So what am I getting at? Well, sure BB10 and the Z10 may be the newest thing right now, but it's going to be short lived...let me show you:
Samsung Galaxy S4
Motorola X Phone
Apple iPhone 5S
Sony Experia Z
Microsoft Surface Phone
HTC One
Nokia EOS (Lumia 1000)
Huawei Ascend Mate
LG Optimus G Pro
All these phones will come out in 2013, they will all be very, very good devices, and they will all be competing for the same market share, with each other and with the BBRY Z10. So yes, the Z10 has hype right now, but can it last long enough to change BBRY's fortunes? Can the Z10 and BB10 be hot long enough to turn the company around? Right now nobody knows, but most have already made their bets. Time will tell.

Agreed, Too Much Competition and not enough differentiation.
Granted it's a whole new phone and OS, but in the end the consumer doesn't care about that, or that the OS is based on QNX... what the consumers care about is things like camera, apps, screen, price, etc.

$BBRY Could someone please tell me why a physical keyboard is apparently better for business people? This makes no sense to me. #marketing

Does anyone still read $BBRY SA articles? After being bombarded with 10+ of these a day I'm tempted to take it off my watch list!

$BBRY investors can't decide what they wan't, no buttons (Z10), or a whole lot of buttons (Q10). One perfectly positioned button is ideal.
