  • Small Cap Stock Picks: Regional Banks on the Move: Long BOFL 0 comments
Jan 20, 2010 9:07 PM | about stocks: BOFLQ, EUBK, DEAR, MBHI, TONE, FRGBQ, IBCP, TIBB, CBBO, PCBC

BOFL was the biggest winner for us today i alerted the Black Service crew that i was taking up a long position @ .93. From there it rallied huge into the 1.30’s where i was trying to sell some shares on the ASK but the buyers had dried up and i watched it fall all the way back down to 1.12 on the close. Although this did have some selling into the close this chart is still insanely beautiful with this breakout above $1/share. Technically the downtrend is now broken on this stock and the bottom ascending triangle pattern is now broken to the upside indicating this could just be the beginning of a HUGE upcoming run for this stock and maybe all of the regional banks in general.

    Technical Analysis:

EUBK – first big day moving on volume

DEAR – Insane move of the day up 229%

MBHI – huge move once this broke .50

TONE – breaking above $1 on huge volume

FRGB – yesterday was the day to buy but this has some BIG momo goin for it

IBCP -another strong stock breaking above the $1 mark

    TIBB –

CBBO – breaking out of its bottom channel could trend higher from here

PCBC – still continuing to trend higher after after it first made a false breakout of its ascending triangle

    Disclosure: long BOFL
