    Good to see a firm choosing to improve the corporate governance (without regulators or big shareholders making a stink).

    The proof that improving the governance also improves the results for shareholders is definitely out there, even if it is under recognized by the market.

    In any case, kudos to the Board of Directors at KLA Tencor for their expected decision to do the right thing for the company and their shareholders - other firms could learn a lot from these good people.
