    Building upon the steady evolution of yuan policy is a recent development in the increasing proliferation of the yuan's use in international trade. This time, it concerns the central banks of Taiwan and China, which recently signed a yuan-clearing agreement that would result in Taiwan allowing interbank trading of the yuan. The central banks also are steadily making developments in a currency swap deal. As noted by Bloomberg, "Nations including Singapore, Japan, and Thailand have signed similar deals with the world's second-biggest economy."
