    1 million euros have been airlifted to Cyprus in the midst of the controversial deposit tax suggestion and its subsequent rejection by Parliament. Funny thing is, the euros are for the British armed forces in Cyprus and their relatives. Must suck watching the cargo plane filled with money fly above your broke self...

    In other news about Cyprus, the bank holiday has been extended until next Tuesday as the Cypriot government scrambles to find ways to pay for the 5.8 billion euro part of the bailout that the troika is demanding.
