On 09/04/15 i wrote my first blog over here. I was in the opinion that i´m on a good way! Well i was, but 7 months later i realy could tell you - i found my stability in my Rente II portfolio.

Between 09/15 and now i switched my broker from local Comdirect to Interactive Brokers - which was a very wise dicision! $1 commission instead of €12 for US stocks is a real steal. Now i´m able to buy small lots of shares without a killing commisson.

I have now 38 stocks which i find every one is a beautiful business. Now i have a new problem. I´m of the feeling that 30 stocks are enough but i can´t find one stock to sell ;-)

Have a closer look into my Rente II:

Special Situation

MUX 600 1.15 - 1550
STJ 10 784

MUX is my 'hedge' against market turmoil - up to now it seems to work ;-)

STJ is my ticket for more ABT after merger just announced this morning.

Short explanation: Every position under $1000 market value is in accumulation mode - this do not prohibit 'the manager' to accumulate in core positions in special situations like for example MO last week with unreal 2%-3% drops 2 days in a row. I´m willing to buy every month in small lots up to $300-$400 in the coming 23 years.

Up to now this portfolion dilivers >$1050 p.a in dividends. This morning JNJ announced 7% hike in quarter div to $0.80 coming from $0.75 - this it why we build such a portfolio ;-)

So what to make? Should i reduce this portfolio to 30? Let it go? What is your advice?
