Hey Cheinstein, this is just the reporting of the sales from the secondary offering priced at 50 on 10 Feb, with trade date of 11 Feb and closing (a.k.a. settlement) date at the standard L+3 of 16 Feb. And there is double counting due to listing the same sales under different partners. In total, it amounted to 13.5 million plus a little over 2 million over-allotment. The rest of the insider shares are still locked up.

What should we expect the price of MCP to do this week after all of the selling late Friday?

Author’s reply » MCP is having a good day. I would not buy it. But the stock has moved down a lot and the insiders are locked up again. I think this approach is bad because it promotes volatility. Moly should just focus on it's projects and get its Q4 earnings out in a timely manner.

Author’s reply » Thanks for the information SP, but your attitude is awful.
SP's about: "Solid application of my considerable intellectual capacity and education at the very top tier schools on both coasts allows me to cut to the essence of the situation and is responsible for my not inconsiderable wealth."

What a fraud and a joke. No name contact or verifiable info. Just a big ego hiding behind a horizon. Add to that 15 comments and 15 cheap shots at a variety of authors, and I am suppose to take you seriously? Please.
Your information was good. But you are a clown. Take your bitterness... erh considerable wealth and top tier education (I would have thought your top tier education would have taught you not to use a double negative-i.e. "not inconsiderable")... and post elsewhere. You are a silly distraction to true investors and real high net worth individuals.

I don't use no improper double negatives, other than for purposes of humor such as in this sentence. Use of a double negative as an intended (mild) positive is perfectly proper, as opposed to double negatives in which cancellation of the negatives logically results in a positive, in contravention to the intended negative. So yes, my education has served me well, although the points discussed here were mastered in elementary school. Perhaps your bitterness is a result of either not getting an education at top tier schools, or if you did, obviously not getting your money's worth.

Author’s reply » My Q to Moly:When will the next earnings call occur? Is the project on budget? Is
any more detail available on how Molycorp Minerals will be the low cost producer
in this field. Any additional patents, diagrams, or cost breakdowns forth coming
    on the subject?

Moly response: We believe the earnings call will take place in the second or third week of
March, where we hope to address your other questions.
The Form 4s you are seeing are part of the secondary offering from certain
stockholders that was announced on January 24, 2011. We are not selling any
shares of our common stock in this offering, nor will we receive any proceeds
from the sale of common stock by the selling stockholders.
