    On September 3,2009 the posted value of DECK was $21.85/share{.71 in 1998}. Today the price is $82.14/share. That's not too bad for any company in this American market today. With competitors like Nike, Timberland, and Wolverine this powerhouse has conquered the barrier in challenging the overseas markets in professional Surfing and outdoor hunting and 6 of nine researchers recommend it as a strong buy with only 2 claiming it's overweighted.

    Globally it's one of the strongest companies in footwear for casual and heavy outdoor use. And it makes me proud as a member of the Decker family I have no formal relationship to any of it's board members currently. I do wish however that the executives would give serious attention to what men would prefer to wear in the working faction of the United States in Steel Toe boots and sneakers.
