     * From public sources it seems that more high level people left yahoo than those who joined. Most of them worked on the business side. See the list at the bottom.

    * Are these changes critical for Yahoo? Not likely. Yahoo essentially a compay with matured business. So changes on certain positions are common and most likely will not have significant impact on its bottom line.

    * Oftertimes when a company is in trouble, it needs to improve efficiency or innovation. Yahoo actually is not in serious trouble but it seems that it needs to do both. That is more challenging.

    * Just one quick thought: Yahoo sold or outsourced several parts of its business it the near past. What if Yahoo was able improve those business to profit earning units? What if Yahoo's strategy is to improve internally rather than simply outsource or sell? What drove the make-or-buy decision in Yahoo internally?
