  • Not All Chinese Companies Are Run by Crooks 3 comments

Not all Chinese companies are run by crooks. They are run by human beings who know that there is no punishment for bad behaviour. In fact, there is substantial incentive for bad behaviour. Imagine yourself in the following scenario: If someone you don't know gives you a million dollars and that someone cannot punish you if you don't give it back, would you use that money for your own benefit? No need to answer this question, just something to ponder about.

Here, in our case, it is not even one of those small hit & run companies but, instead, it's one of the biggest groups of companies in China since the 19th. century, who is trying to steal our money which is a substantial amount (for us) which is one million U.S. Dollars; money well deserved & earned by our company as commission on a big project we worked on with them very hard indeed for more than two & a half years. They were so appreciative & grateful to us but they don't want to pay us although we have a mountain of evidence and our case is so strong & sunlcear. This behaviour is extremely unethical, unrpofessional unjust and inhumain. They are so greedy and disgusting. We need some good advice.

ACTA is a systems-house company specialized mainly in industrial automation systems. We provide solutions and consultations to a variety of industries for our customers throughout the Arab world. ACTA; (Arab Corp. for Technological Applications) is situated in Amman, Jordan. We have had the unpleasant encounter with a big Chinese company with whom, it seems , a big battle has to take place in order to get what belongs to us, as per our previous comment.

Author’s reply » The Chinese government and its courts will protect their Chinese companies, since they have vested interests in them. And Chinese courts will either dismiss or judge against foreigners. However, starting a lawsuit in China could get you attention and give some validity to your claim. If I were you, I would tap my network of contacts and let everyone know who had committed fraud by reaching other businessmen, authorities and the media. I would also get a court order to seize the Chinese companies' assets in Jordan, if any. If I had the contacts, I would give King Abdullah, Hussein Mujalli and Nasser Judeh a call so that they lobby for me. Most importantly, always keep it up and remain positive.
