    Jon are you aware that your UB Post article and many others relevant to recent political developments have been removed along with all comment?.There is a big push to censor the English media in Mongolia

    I have made a formal inquiry with the UB Post dulleyefarmer. I am not jumping to any conclusions, but it is interesting.

    Greetings Dulleyefarmer,

    I have been told all UB Post articles more than a week old were deleted from their website when the UB Post did a (much needed) upgrade to their website last week. Have you seen articles disappearing from other news outlets aside from UB Post in Mongolia?

    Final note. After asking around, there is no such censorship taking place in Mongolia and the disappearing articles incident is isolated to the UB Post and its change of server.

    Try to search the UB Post for a story about the State seizure of Tavan Tolgoi in 2007 and the imprisonment of the Mongolian CEO. Try and find the story on the murder of Magdai the Russian Railways executive. It's not just your story that got removed.Changing the server from Disqus means that they can delete comments themselves.

    Mysterious death of Ulaanbaatar Railways CEO V.V.Magdei was very suspicious.

    At the time there were reports in Mongolian press claiming that G.Batkhuu (owner of "APU", "Shunkhlai" etc) was responsible for his death.

    I have no idea whether it's true or not, but it is common knowledge in Mongolia that he has extensive dealings with very questionable Russian businessmen.

    Every single UB Post article was deleted when they upgraded to the new server - whether about travel or politics. It was not selective. This has not happened at other online news sources. It is the fault of the people the UB Post hired to upgrade the server, and not the fault of censoring.
