Amira Nature Foods Ltd. (NYSE:ANFI) announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2014, posting marked increases in revenue and earnings on both a quarterly and annual basis. The global provider of Indian specialty rice saw quarterly revenue rise 33% from $140.2M to $186.6M while annual revenue increased 32.3% to $547.3M from $413.7M last year. Quarterly earnings jumped 45% from $18.1M and $0.24 per share to $26.4M and $0.47 per share. Annual earnings improved similarly, up from $52.4M and $0.63 per share to $75.5M and $1.04 per share. CEO Karan Chanana remarked that the company performed brilliantly, with great improvements to margins, sales, and income, setting the company up well for investments in its growth.
