There's been a rather drastic drop in liquidity of all flavors of Fannie and Freddie shares today. Any chance that an employee trading freeze has been ordered? This happened in May of 2005: www.complianceweek.com/pages/login.aspx

    Disclosure: I am long OTCQB:FNMA.

  • Author’s reply » Thanks for this info. If nothing else, it's reassuring, and I guess the volume and price data make sense in light of this.

For future reference, how does one find daily short interest data for OTC stocks? The otcmarkets.com only provides data every 15 days.

I'll take a look at the short interest tomorrow when the new data is published, and see when the next time to buy is.
