    Amazing books....I'd thought to add a general death topic of 'communism 1920-1991' but given the recent negative reaction to a 'political' topic I thought I'd stick to actual events vs trends over time (like decades of the black death).


    Also, the US Civil War was far bloodier than the American Revolution. In % terms one of the bloodiest ever, anywhere.
