Buffet's comments on housing showed a surprising level of cluelessness . . . I mean, when the government makes it a law that you must spent 9.2% of pre-tax income on health insurance (before you get any medical care) and you have student loan debt needless to say young people aren't going to have the slightest interest in or ability to buy a house

Housing is a conundrum, definitely. Existing home sales down for lack of inventory. Seems like land/developers are doing quite well (e.g., BRP), but brokers are getting hammered (e.g., RLGY and RMAX). Brookfield Real Estate Services turned in a nice Q though.

I'd love to read all three. What does that say?

Author’s reply » Munger would say that you're potentially wise:

“In my whole life, I have known no wise people who didn't read all the time -- none, zero. You'd be amazed at how much Warren (Buffett) reads -- at how much I read. My children laugh at me. They think I'm a book with a couple of legs sticking out".”

Dropping quotes from "Poor Charlie's Almanack". Is this from memory?
