  • Artificial Rainfall Has Been Created And The Implications Are Staggering 0 comments
Jun 7, 2012 4:53 PM | about stocks: MON, CZZ, TSCO, DE

Meteo Systems international is a company based out of Zurich, Switzerland which has developed a technology called WEATHERTEC. The theory behind WEATHERTEC originates from the experiments of Nikola Tesla, an Austrian and later American, scientist who was a pioneer in electrical field research. WEATHERTEC is comprised of giant ionizers which produce negatively charged ions and push them into the atmosphere. In theory these ions will bond with dust in the air and lift the dust into the atmosphere. In turn, the dust will bond with water molecules in the air and form into a cloud. Once the cloud is dense enough rain will fall from the cloud to the ground. Meteo Systems reported that they have created artificial rainfall 52 times over the last year; however, not everyone believes that Meteo's reports are true.

American meteorologist and head of the National Center for Atmospheric Research's International weather modification programs,Roelof Bruintjes said, "As far as I'm concerned I don't believe these claims. There is no scientific basis for this; the physics do not support it." Joseph Golden, another weather modification expert, does not believe Meteo System's claims either. He stated, "This method is inherently incapable of producing clouds out of thin air." These two experts both cite the lack of scientific data from Meteo Systems as their main basis for their objections.

Meteo System's claim of creating artificial rainfall is highly suspect, but if it proves to be true WEATHERTEC could have massive implications for the global socio-economic environment. There are advantages such as the eradication of droughts and unpredictable rainfall. Farmers could more consistently produce crops and farm in previously unusable areas. Commodity ETFs such as (NYSEARCA:DBA) would dramatically fall, and companies such as Monsanto(NYSE:MON), Cosan (NYSE:CZZ), Deere & Company (NYSE:DE), Agrium (NYSE:AGU), and Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ:TSCO) could benefit greatly. There may also be potential downsides to a technology of this magnitude such as weather pattern destabilization and the potential use of this technology as a weapon.Either way, investors, scientists and entrepreneurs should keep a close eye on the events surrounding Meteo Systems International. If proven to be true, the implications of WEATHERTEC could be immense, and so could the profits.
