The Daily Options Trading Strategy- Consulting/Meetings 70 comments
Basically, here is how it works: for one full week (or more if requested), I will meet with you and go over every single aspect of the strategy that I know. In the beginning, I advise on trades that I see and why I like them. You will be making money even as the training is taking place. I will also go over situations to avoid in real-time with every stock used in the strategy. While the articles and book I wrote are extremely useful, there really is no substitute for a live approach that I can provide.
My preference is to meet at a neutral place. Since I am in San Diego, CA, I will usually choose a hotel that is centrally located. I will travel under certain situations, but this will obviously cost me more and is less convenient.
If anyone is interested, please contact me via e-mail for details. I am very reasonable in terms of cost and I guarantee you that you will come away from the weekly session as a top trader using this strategy.
Thanks again.

Are There other ways you can teach me? ^^ since I live in Belgium it's kinda hard to follow your *lessons* in San Diego :D
I think I'll need a few real time examples to become a pro like you are ^^
You read my mind. I'm here in Socal and would like to train with you. What is your email address so I can reach out. I'll be out of the country until 2-22, but we can get together when I return
would you mind sending me an email for a couple questions?
thanks,
jr
the set-ups are much more subjective than claimed. Indicators
for entries like this are not as good as finding pullback and then consolidation areas to enter a position with pre planned stop and
profit targets.
Have you tried the strategy? It works like a charm. I have been following Kevin for a while now and have read all of the positive comments about this strategy. Your comment is totally baseless. You have no credibility whatsoever when you come out and make such a stupid statement.
How can a person as dumb as you still be alive? Go back under the rock where you crawled out from.
Since I read the book, I won't talk about spreads and different indicators on this thread.
Thanks for your time and effort.

I have read all of Kevin's 5 articles and comments related to this strategy. I have even read his recently published ebook on this strategy. While you can implement this strategy with the information that Kevin has provided on Seeking Alpha articles and his ebook, I wanted to get additional one-on-one training on it. I emailed Kevin a few weeks ago to asked him to train me on his strategy. We arranged to meet at a hotel in San Diego for a full week of training.
The training from Kevin has exceeded all of my expectations. He is truly the master of his daily options strategy. To be able to see and hear from him in person on how to successfully implement it has been worth every penny. It has provided me an in-depth understanding of how this strategy works. Kevin's training has given me confidence that I can do this on my own.
The training is completely customized to your situation, trading capital and trading style. He will asked you a lot of questions to understand how you trade, your risk tolerance and how much you want to make each day.
He will sit down with you during each trading day and show you step-by-step how to setup your charts properly, walk you through his morning routines and the complete process of implementing his strategy. His coaching style is relaxed, personable and very thorough. He will patiently answer all of your questions on every aspect of this strategy. You will get a greater understanding of this strategy and why it is so successful.
He will tell you the buy signals that he is looking for and will walk you through actual trades each day. More importantly, he will tell you the common mistakes most beginners make when using this strategy so that you can avoid it. It is truly amazing to see how all of the pieces work together. He is absolutely correct in saying that you will be putting money in your pocket during the week of training. I call it earning while you are learning!
I highly recommend the training to anyone who wants to be successful with this strategy. I have taken numerous training courses on trading over the past few years. I ranked this as the best training experience that I have ever had. I am so pleased with the training that I have arranged with Kevin for further training in the future to refine and hone my daily options trading strategy.
Please email me or reply to my post if you have any questions or comments. I will be happy to share it with you.
You didn't have to write this, but thank you for doing so. You know how I work, so I appreciate that you shared this with others who may have wondered. As you know, nothing makes me happier than seeing people become their own boss instead of the daily stress of the 9 to 5 job. Back at it tomorrow.
Thank in advance
Craig
Check your email.
Bollinger Bands: choice of SMA or EMA. Choice of OPEN or CLOSE.
RSI: choice of RSI_EMA or RSI/Wilder
RSI_EMA needs a choice for price; Hi, Lo, Close, volume.
RSI/Wilder has same choices (but doesn't specify EMA or SMA.
Stochastic Full: Smoothing-SMA or EMA.Â
I enjoyed reading your book.
Thank you
BB sma, but don't plot the sma, just the bands and use close.
RSI/Wilder
Stochast, SMA
I sent you a message through Alpha, but in case you did not get it, please send me your email, as I too am interested in one on one training. Love San Diego!
The goal of my week of training was not to make a boat load of money (even though I could have done that easily). My goal was to ensure that I can do this by myself and be very successful at it. Before the training, I lacked confidence in myself and felt uncomfortable placing trades using the strategy. At the conclusion of the training, I know I will be able to make money every week using this strategy. I can't wait to try it by myself next week.
The thing I like about Kevin's strategy is that I only need to spend a few hours each trading day to make one or two trades and I am free to do whatever I want with the rest of my time. I don't need to be glued to the computer and make dozens of trades like some day traders. You only need to make one or two trades a day. There is very little stress.
If I want to go on vacation or do something else for the day, I don't need to trade. I am free to trade whenever and wherever I like. I don't have to worry about my positions because my trades are placed and closed in a matter of minutes or before the end of the day. There is no need to worry about holding a stock overnight or over the weekend. There is no trading capital that is tied up. You "cash" out everyday. This will help me sleep better because I don't have to worry about how my portfolio will look like the next day if there are bad news in the company or in the world.
This daily options strategy has given me hope that I will be able to achieve financial independence. I can kiss goodbye to my 9-5 job and be free to trade for a living. With Kevin's expert guidance, I am firmly on my way to becoming a successful options trader using his daily strategy.
Thanks Kevin for training me on this strategy. It was a pleasure having you trained me and I enjoyed every minute of it.
Please email me if you have any questions about the training. I will be happy to reply.
I am very interested in the training with you. My risk tolerance is kinda low since I am using your strategy to bootstrap a web startup I am cofounding with a buddy so I am the income/growth based trader. Would this be a problem. Would love to learn more.

I read the five articles and your book and I’m very interested in a week of personal training to get hands on experience. It looks amazing. I look forward to hearing from you.

After booking the trip, we all realized that the markets were going to be closed yesterday. However, since the trip was already booked, we decided to use yesterday to talk about the strategy, look at charts, and be well-prepared for today. Although I've read the book, I felt that yesterday's interactive session was invaluable. There really is no replacement for learning from the person who actually developed the strategy. There were indeed things that Kevin was able to explain in person that would be hard to convey through the printed word. My husband was equally impressed and was so well enough informed that he was ready for some practice today.
The session yesterday was already worth the price of admission; and the live session convinced me that there is really no substitute for this type of training --- not by teleconferencing nor held as a group seminar. Kevin personalizes the training to fit one's goals. My goal was to hear Kevin comment the on charts and indicators as they were forming in order to have a feel for the finer nuances of what makes a great trade versus something that he would avoid. I also wanted to learn Kevin's very methodical way of approaching each day and his execution of trades. I was definitely not disappointed and am already developing knowledge and habits that will serve me for years to come.
What is most surprising to me is the relaxed environment Kevin is able to create for us rookies. There's no drama and no panic. We are even able to have some laughs as we waited for a trade to work out.
And yes, we made a good trade today, which is gravy. Can't wait until tomorrow.
There is no doubt that even after having read the book and articles, the in-person training was well-worth our time.
Plus, Kevin is a genuine person and an all-around "nice guy". He really doesn't have to do this and would probably have an easier and shorter day just doing his own trading. We found that he is willing to educate and eager to help. We both now consider him a friend.
I would be happy to answer any emails related to the training, if you would like to hear more from a trainee's perspective and ask specific questions.
I sent you an email. I would be happy to answer questions you have.
Gladys
Is it possible to give me some recent Buy-signals?
When i try to find them myself , the bb are always to narrow?
What time-frame do you guys use? (How many hours does the graph cover? ( my graph fills up 1 day))
Ty!
Any chance you would answer some questions?
After doing a detailed comparison of a number of platforms I did identify that OX is using a different formula for IMI than other platforms. I also found that the MFI has dramatically different results that other platforms (the other platforms are about the same compared to each other).
I asked OX to send me their IMI formula, which they did and I have programmed it into TOS and am now getting the same results. OX is now looking into MFI and I hope to get that programmed into TOS as well.
The last observation which would impact the day trading method of trading is that the unlike TOS, the indicators in OX do not update in real time, like price does. So the most current value is not accurate. Only the 2nd to last bar and prior are accurate. The current number is created when the new bar opens, but then does not update again, until that bar is completed. So that tells me to make sure I check the prior number to confirm a signal. I assume Kevin, this is what you do as well.
Mike
Thanks in advance.
Jeff McDougall
I also use TOS as my trading platform, and have noticed the difference in the IMI and the MFI. Would you be willing to share the IMI formula that you received from OX. ?
Thx
TM
Could you share those formulas with me? I also use TOS and would love to program them in. Thanks
Could you please send me an e-mail with your latest training schedule? I actively trade options and would like to investigate your system in more detail.
Thanks!
If you go to Kevin's instatblog, you will see his current training schedule.
Any plans to visit Phoenix,Arizona for training purpose? Your articles are impressive. Can you please send me the link to the ebook you mention couple of times in your article?
Thanks and keep up the good work!!!

My husband and I read your book on the option strategy. It was a quick read, very straight forward and easy to follow. It got us very interested in this strategy. I was hoping you may be able to answer a question for me.
I am practicing in a virtual trading account right now until I feel like I know what I'm doing. I had a few days were I found buys easily, but last Friday and again today I did not have any luck. I was just wondering if there were any buying opportunties that I may have missed today.
Thanks so much for the time you spend answering questions for people like me.
Buy signals in TOS but not in optionsexpress.
Example: Yesterday 4/3/2012 Citigroup at 11:16am
TOS had all 5 buy signals. OX only had 4.
The IMI Number was a buy (16) in TOS but not in OX (40).
Sorry for the repeated question. Thanks to termn8er for his previous answer to my question.
So my question to kevin or anyone else does this strategy only work with optionsexpress?
Sean
P.S. I enjoyed your eBook.
When the bands are expanded, all indicators are met, and the price action is well below or above the band, I would take the trade.
In your example of Citigroup at 11:16am on 4/3, I personally would not have taken the trade even if the IMI in OX showed 16. The biggest factor for me was that the bands were too narrow. In fact, if I had on my streaming charts, I would not have gone to check on C based on the way the chart looked at the time. The way the chart looks is the single most important factor for me. I would then check on the numbers.
I hope that helps.
To be clear, OpX is using formulas that are not reflective of the names they are using. I have confirmed this. So you can not use other platforms to generate the signals unless you figure out the formulas they are using. I know some are using free accounts with OpX and then using TOS to trade the signals.
Question I use Td ameritrade and I find that they don't have a 2 minute indicator only 1 or 5
Also there is only either fast or slow stochastics. and No IMI indicator
Can you offer any recommendations to use other indicators similar to your strategy
thanks
