  • Addition of VMware (VMW) to the Daily Options Strategy- Removal of IBM 7 comments

Since I added (IBM) to the strategy it has been very range-bound daily and the Bollinger Bands have been too tight to really find any great entry points. I think it is taking up a spot on the 9 streaming charts.

I have been monitoring VMware (VMW) for quite a while and really like this stock for the Daily Strategy. So, add VMW and take IBM off.  If you would still like to trade (IBM), I would lower the sell price from its current level of 0.600-1.00 above what you paid.

  • Great to see VMW added to the model. Made some good gains this month using your model and selling the 77.50 puts during the quick pullback. Love the stock but hope it breaks down after earnings monday to sell them again this month. This thing is like a range bound clock between 80 and 100. Keep up the good work Kevin.

  • Author’s reply » Thanks, I've been using a lower sell order, about 0.40 with VMW. I get out a lot quicker and just buy more contracts at a time.
