  • A New Monthly Pivot And Monthly Risky Levels.  0 comments

    The yield on the US Treasury 10-Year retested its annual pivot at 2.476% pre-Fed Statement on Wednesday with risk back to the 50-day SMA at 2.711%. The yield on the US Treasury 30-Year bond could rise to its 50-day at 3.737%. The weekly chart shows the 10-Year yield back above its 200-week SMA at 2.506%. The weekly chart shows the 30-year yield back above its 200-week SMA at 3.619%.

    10-Year Note - (2.542) Weekly, monthly and semiannual value levels are 2.584, 2.829 and 3.227 with my annual pivot at 2.476, and daily, quarterly and annual risky levels at 2.429, 2.252 and 1.981.

    Comex gold has a positive but overbought daily chart with the precious metal below its 50-day SMA at $1340.4 with the 200-day SMA at $1427.2. The weekly chart shifts to positive on a weekly close above its five-week MMA at $1327.1 with the 200-week SMA is $1479.4.

    Crude oil is below its 200-day SMA at $98.74 with declining daily momentum. The weekly chart is negative but oversold with its five-week MMA at $101.36 and the 200-week SMA at $91.57.

    The euro vs. the dollar has negative daily chart with its 50-day and 200-day SMAs at 1.3484 and 1.3219 with Friday's 52-week high at 1.3832. The weekly chart remains positive but overbought with the five-week MMA at 1.3552 and the 200-week SMA at 1.3324.

    Comex Gold - ($1323.5) Weekly and monthly value levels are $1266.6 and $1171.8 with daily, quarterly and annual risky levels at $1364.6, $1435.6, $1599.9 and $1852.1.

    Nymex Crude Oil - ($96.27) My daily value level is $95.09 with a weekly pivot at $98.62 with monthly, semiannual, quarterly and annual risky levels at $105.04, $109.84, $114.36 and $115.23.

    The Euro - (1.3579) Monthly, annual, quarterly and semiannual value levels are 1.3428, 1.3257, 1.2805, 1.2756 and 1.2477 with daily, weekly and annual risky levels at 1.3790, 1.3870 and 1.4295.

    The daily chart for the Dow Industrial Average remains positive but overbought with the 50-day SMA at 15,225.14 with the Oct. 30 all time high at 15,721.00. The S&P 500 is positive but overbought with its 50-day SMA at 1696.38 with the Oct. 30 all time high at 1775.22. The Nasdaq is positive but overbought with its 50-day SMA at 3769.47 with its Oct. 30 multi-year high at 3966.71. The Dow Transportation Average is positive but overbought with its 50-day SMA at 6627.42 with its Oct. 29 all time high at 7064.67. The Russell 2000 is positive but overbought with its 50-day SMA at 1069.26 and the Oct. 30 all time high at 1123.26.

    The weekly chart for Dow Industrials is positive with its five-week MMA at 15,362.70. The weekly chart for the S&P 500 is positive but overbought with its five-week MMA at 1719.16. The weekly chart for the Nasdaq stays positive but overbought with its five-week MMA at 3824.00. The weekly chart for Dow Transports is positive but overbought with its five-week MMA at 6742.39. The weekly chart for the Russell 2000 remains positive but overbought with its five-week MMA at 1083.84.

    My new monthly pivot is 6927 on Dow Transports with monthly risky levels at 16,162 Dow Industrials, 1802.0 S&P 500, 4014 Nasdaq and 1133.14 Russell 2000.

    Semiannual and quarterly risky levels are 16,490 and 16,775 Dow Industrials, 1853.8 S&P 500, 4025 Nasdaq, 7104 and 7205 Dow Transports and 1163.21 Russell 2000. Semiannual pivots are 1743.5 S&P 500, 3759 Nasdaq and 1089.42 Russell 2000.

    My annual value levels remain at 12,696 Dow Industrials, 1348.3 S&P 500, 2806 Nasdaq, 5469 Dow Transports, and 809.54 Russell 2000.

    Daily Dow: (15,546) Semiannual and annual value levels are 14,724 and 12,696 with a daily pivot at 15,701, the Oct. 30 all time high at 15,721.00, and weekly, monthly, semiannual and quarterly risky levels at 15,825, 16,162, 16,490 and 16,775.

    S&P 500 - (1760.6) Semiannual and annual value levels are 1606.9, 1400.7 and 1348.3 with semiannual and daily pivots at 1743.5 and 1773.1, the Oct. 30 all time high at 1775.22, and weekly, monthly and quarterly risky levels at 1789.2, 1802.0 and 1853.8.

    NASDAQ - (3920) Semiannual and annual value levels are 3759, 3668 and 2806 with a daily pivot at 3940, the Oct. 30 multi-year high at 3966.71, and monthly, weekly and quarterly risky levels at 4014, 4041 and 4025.

    NASDAQ 100 (NDX) - (3378) Semiannual and annual value levels are 3304 and 2463 with a daily pivot at 3389, the Oct. 30 multi-year high at 3408.67, and monthly, weekly and quarterly risky levels at 3425, 3452 and 3477.

    Dow Transports - (6975) Annual value levels are 5925 and 5469 with a monthly pivot at 6927, the Oct. 29 all time high at 7064.67, and daily, weekly, semiannual and quarterly risky levels at 7132, 7148, 7104 and 7205.

    Russell 2000 - (1104.28) Semiannual and annual value levels are 1089.42, 860.25 and 809.54 with a daily pivot at 1113.12, the Oct. 30 all time high at 1123.26, and monthly, weekly and quarterly risky levels at 1133.14, 1154.13 and 1163.21.

    The SOX - (507.09) Daily and annual value levels are 494.52 and 338.03 with the Oct. 31 multi-year high at 510.17, and monthly, weekly, quarterly and semiannual risky level at 519.72, 529.28, 514.87 and 533.56.

    Dow Utilities: (499.87) Weekly and semiannual value levels are 499.61 and 481.92 with daily, monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual risky levels at 510.29, 514.62, 520.55, 523.33 and 540.37.
