STRATEGY CONSIDERATION:
Out, in, & upweighting PRU this month, beginning with this week's end, and on into the first of January. Enhance potential capital gain capture and risk reduction management by employing active position managemnt adjustments.
Note Friday SEPT 14 Short-term tops in both equities (SPY), Gold (GLD, GTU), and financials (XLF, eg. PRU). Stock market composite indexes, gold market indexes, and financials each fatigue their central bank stimulated run-ups last quarter on this same day. Quarterly downpressure then ensued. This coming Friday is that Friday's quarterly echovector forward day (one quarter forward).
Looked at PRU DEC 21 2012 52.5 calls as sell on November 6TH, our 2QEV short date, at $5.50. Looking at the 50 calls as possible sell on this coming Friday. The DEC 52.5 puts as a buy. And the Jan 52.5 as a buy on Wed Oct 3RD's QEV FEV EFD*, Wed Jan 2ND.
