Hatteras Financial Corp. Announces Pricing of Common Stock Offering
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hatteras Financial Corp. (HTS) (NYSE:HTS) (the Company) today announced that it priced a public offering of 17,500,000 shares of its common stock for expected gross proceeds of approximately $474.6 million before expenses. The Company granted the underwriters of the offering a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,625,000 shares of common stock to cover overallotments, if any. The offering is expected to close on March 30, 2012.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are serving as the joint book-running managers for the offering. RBC Capital Markets, LLC is serving as a co-manager for the offering.
