Arch Capital Group Ltd. Completes Its Acquisition of Credit & Surety Reinsurance Operations of Ariel Re
HAMILTON, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Arch Capital Group Ltd. (ACGL) [Nasdaq: ACGL] today announced that it acquired Ariel Res Credit & Surety reinsurance operations based in Zurich. The former Ariel Re Credit & Surety team joined the Zurich branch office of Arch Reinsurance Europe Underwriting Limited (Arch Re Europe). The team is operational, and Arch Re Europe anticipates a seamless transition for service to both clients and intermediaries. Arch Re Europe is rated "A+" by Standard & Poors.
