Regions Claims Top Regional Spot in TNS Choice Awards
Chosen as top ranking bank in East Region
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- For the second year in a row, Regions Financial (NYSE: RF) is a winner of a TNS Choice Award for outstanding performance in banking and investment services, this year achieving the top ranking in the research firms East Region.
Our continued recognition as a leader in customer service is a nod to Regions associates and their ongoing efforts to earn our customers respect by providing a positive customer experience with competitive products and services at a fair price, says Regions Chief Marketing Officer Scott Peters.
This recognition is based on an analysis of 8,300 consumer interviews in the East Region as part of the TNS Market Effectiveness Study in Consumer Banking. The East Region is comprised of 17 states along the Eastern seaboard, plus the District of Columbia. The analysis weighs measures of customer acquisition, retention, satisfaction and share of wallet across a comprehensive set of competing firms to identify top performers.
While customer satisfaction is important, banks that succeed in the marketplace do more than just satisfy customers, said Joe Hagan, senior vice president of multi-client programs at TNS and Manager of the TNS Choice Awards. To have success, firms need to excel at many factors including value offered, convenience provided, reputation, clarity of advertising, and quality of products.
