Celanese Corporation Announces 25 Percent Dividend Increase
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Celanese Corporation (CE), a global technology and specialty materials company, today announced that its board of directors has approved a 25 percent increase in the companys quarterly common stock cash dividend. The dividend rate increased from $0.06 to $0.075 per share of common stock on a quarterly basis and from $0.24 to $0.30 per share of common stock on an annual basis. The new dividend rate will be applicable to dividends payable beginning in August 2012.
"We continue to be committed to returning value to our stockholders and have increased our quarterly dividend more than 85 percent since 2010," said Steven Sterin, senior vice president and chief financial officer.
