Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico Reports Passenger Traffic Increase of 2.2% for April 2012
GUADALAJARA, Mexico--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: PAC; BMV: GAP) (the Company or GAP) announced today preliminary terminal passenger traffic figures for the month of April 2012 compared to traffic figures for April 2011.
During April 2012, total terminal passengers increased 2.2% compared to the previous year. Domestic passenger traffic increased 4.4%, while international passenger traffic declined 1.3% compared to April 2011.
As part of Aprils relevant events, it is important to note Volariss opening of the following routes: Aguascalientes Cancun, Guanajuato Cancun, Guadalajara Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta Mexico City and Guadalajara Puebla.
In addition, it is important to mention that VivaAerobus opened the Guadalajara Cancun route, while Interjet opened the Guanajuato Mexico City route.
