Wexford Park, in Hartford, CT, is getting a makeover. Prudential, a longtime supporter of the Hartford community, has donated $10,000 toward the parks beautification and has initiated monthly volunteer days by its Hartford-based employees. The volunteers will assist the Knox Parks Foundation.

Background:

The park, located on Main Street, sits atop the Route 84 Tunnel and provides a roof-top connector over the interstate, unifying the city blocks and offering a spot for passersby to relax and for skateboarders to practice their sport. Prudential and Knox Parks have teamed up to make the area an inviting place to enjoy some down time.
