AETI Names Blair Zimmerman Director of Midstream and Downstream Equipment Sales
HOUSTON, May 29, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American Electric Technologies, Inc. (AETI) (Nasdaq:AETI) a leading global supplier of power delivery solutions for the energy industry, announced today that Blair Zimmerman has joined the company as director of sales for the midstream and downstream oil and gas markets. In this role, he will be responsible for sales of AETI products to the pipeline, refining and petrochemical markets in southeast Texas. Zimmerman joins AETI with more than 30 years' experience in electrical industry marketing and sales. This includes selling switchgear, transformers, and high voltage substations to the industrial and petrochemical markets in southeast Texas. Previously, Zimmerman served as principal at Precision Power Group and sold various substation and power distribution equipment to clients. Prior to this, Zimmerman was in sales at Powell Industries where he sold to the Houston refining and petrochem markets. Zimmerman has a bachelor's of science degree in Engineering Physics from Texas Tech University.
