GEICO moves in CAT teams to assist policyholders after recent storms hit Colorado
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GEICO has brought in adjusters from around the country and also set up catastrophe assistance centers in Denver and Colorado Springs to help policyholders recover following recent rain and hail storms in Colorado.
GEICO urges policyholders to report their claims as early as possible. To reach GEICO's claims team anytime, 24 hours a day, call 1-800-841-3000, or report the claim on GEICO's website, www.geico.com.
We are aware of the serious damage that storms cause, particularly if theres hail. It may be difficult or even impossible for drivers to use their cars, said Gary Brown, GEICOs regional vice president. GEICO adjusters are on-site at the catastrophe centers inspecting vehicles and issuing checks for the repairs. We want to make sure the claims are handled quickly and that theres minimal inconvenience for our policyholders. Were working to get them back on the road as soon as possible.
If your vehicle has been damaged by the recent storms, especially if windows are broken, GEICO recommends covering it with plastic or other material to protect it from further damage.
