Citrix Podio, the Most Open and Flexible Collaborative Work Platform, Supports All Major Cloud File Sharing Services
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Citrix (CTXS) today announced that Citrix Podio, its powerful collaborative work platform, now integrates with YouSendIt, a content collaboration company that enables organizations to securely share content, sign documents and access files from any mobile device or desktop. Building on the recently announced integration with ShareFile, Citrixs file sharing service, Podio is now the most open and connected collaborative work platform for teams, offering integrations with a wide range of leading file sharing and storage services, including ShareFile, SugarSync, Microsoft SkyDrive, Box, Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive and Google Docs and now YouSendIt. Podio also integrates seamlessly with cloud-based business solutions such as GoToMeeting, Zendesk, Freshbooks, Campaign Monitor and Google Apps; and bookmarking and external content curation services like Google Alerts, Delicious, RSS and Instapaper.
Bring Your Own App
Todays globally dispersed, mobile workers have embraced the power they now have to choose not only their own devices thanks to the increasing adoption of Bring Your Own Device policies across the enterprise but also their own apps. Individuals and teams now have the freedom to select their preferred cloud-based web and mobile apps to work the way they want to with increased efficiency, autonomy and independence about how they get their work done.
Now with integrations for all the major cloud-based file sharing apps, instead of maneuvering between disparate content sources, Podio users can simply click the file sharing service link and immediately launch and access the files or services they need to be productive. Also, the ability to structure and add context socially to files in Podio, whether in status posts, tasks, private messages, app items or workflows, enables a seamless experience for the end user.
YouSendIt and Podio working together
Teams collaborating on Podio will now be able to connect their YouSendIt accounts to the Podio work platform in seconds and share any type of content with coworkers, customers or partners inside their Podio workspaces. This new integration improves productivity by giving teams a structured workflow for managing files and content, adding accountability for work and the ability to handle all communications in one place.
The volume of tools currently available for file-syncing means the chances of one team using the same service as the contractors, suppliers and customers that it needs to share data with are slim, said Tommy Ahlers, VP of Social Collaboration, Citrix. The integration of these services with Podio allows teams and external partners to work the way they want to using their preferred or existing file sharing and storage solution. As a result work gets done easier, faster and with less logistical complexity.
At YouSendIt, we believe that content collaboration both within organizations and beyond the firewall should be a seamless experience. YouSendIt is committed to working in the various places our users work today. That increasingly includes social work platforms like Podio, said Brian Curry, chief product officer, YouSendIt. The integration of our services is a win for both YouSendIt and Podio users, who are now further empowered to quickly and easily collaborate from anywhere.
