GEICO responds swiftly to assist customers following devastating Mid-Atlantic storms
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- With power lines and trees down throughout the Mid-Atlantic region following crippling storms, GEICO has moved in a Catastrophe Claims Team (CAT) to assist policyholders.
GEICO urges policyholders to report their claims as early as possible. To reach a claims team anytime, 24 hours a day, please visit GEICOs website at www.geico.com or call 1-800-841-3000 to report a claim. Policyholders will be advised where to bring their vehicle for an assessment of the damages or how to schedule a visit from a GEICO adjuster.

To ensure the safety of its policyholders, GEICO encourages residents to get in touch with their local authorities to find more information regarding temporary housing, school cancellations and other pertinent information. If your vehicle has been damaged by the recent storms, especially if windows are broken, GEICO recommends covering it with plastic or other material to protect it from further damage.
