Cloud and Network Services Provider to Explore Big Trends, Bigger Opportunities in Current and Future Cloud Environment
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cbeyond (CBEY) Inc. (NASDAQ: CBEY), a leading provider of cloud and network services to small and mid-sized businesses, today announced the Company will participate in a breakout panel session during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) and discuss strategies for business leaders to implement and market the cloud. The session, entitled Big Trends, Bigger Opportunities Understand What it Takes to be a Leader in the Cloud, will take place Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time in Toronto.
The WPC is the premier annual event for Microsoft partners and provides a forum for attendees to connect with fellow partners and Microsoft executives to plan their companys roadmap for the next year, including business direction, vision and strategies, customer campaigns and upcoming launches.
Cbeyond chief technology officer Chris Gatch will join four fellow IT leaders on the Big Trends, Bigger Opportunities panel. Moderated by analyst firm IDC, the panel will illustrate how leading cloud hosting providers are addressing todays market needs while preparing for future growth. Among the topics Gatch and his colleagues are expected to address include cloud channel marketing strategies, how partnering can generate success, and finding the best course for technology innovation and investment.
It is no secret that more small and mid-sized businesses are beginning to accept and transition to the cloud for greater efficiency and security, and this rapid shift creates significant opportunities for all partners, said Gatch. This WPC event is the latest extension in our long-standing partnership with Microsoft, and a great opportunity to share our experiences and insight to help business leaders leverage the right mix of partnership and promotion to reach the forefront of the cloud market.
Gatch joins Jeff Uphues, vice president of cloud solutions and national sales of Cbeyond, as featured WPC presenters. Uphues shared cloud transition and synchronization tips as part of Services Provider Experiences: Deploying Microsoft Private Cloud Platform, an executive roundtable held Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
