Kratos Announces Colin Black Has Joined Kratos as Chief Information Officer (CIO)
SAN DIEGO, July 24, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that Colin Black has joined Kratos as Chief Information Officer (CIO) reporting directly to Eric DeMarco, Kratos' President and CEO.
Mr. Black brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Kratos. After beginning his career in quantum physics, he has been involved in information technology for the past 20 years, including the past 12 years leading the IT function. His most recent position was as CIO and VP with responsibilities for Facilities, Field Service, Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Cymer, Inc., a global capital equipment company headquartered in San Diego. Previously, he was VP and CIO of Mindspeed Technologies in Newport Beach and Deputy CIO at MEMEC, a multi-billion dollar global semiconductor distributor. Colin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Nano-Electronics.
