MPG Office Trust Reports Redemption of Partnership Units
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MPG Office Trust, Inc. (NYSE: MPG), a Southern California-focused real estate investment trust, reported that on August 3, 2012, the Company issued 1,200,544 shares of the Companys common stock in exchange for 1,200,544 operating partnership units owned by Robert F. Maguire III. At Mr. Maguires request, the Company issued 518,513 shares of common stock to a party not related to Mr. Maguire and 682,031 shares of common stock to Mr. Maguire directly.
As a result of the redemption, 170,526 operating partnership units remain outstanding and the Company now owns approximately 99.7% of MPG Office, L.P., its Operating Partnership.
