Atlas Air Worldwide Wins Air Force One Training Contract
PURCHASE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAWW), a leading global provider of outsourced aircraft and aviation operating services, today announced that its Atlas Air, Inc. unit has won a U.S. Air Force contract to train the aircrews of Air Force One.
Under the five-year, fixed-price contract, crews for the Air Force One, a modified version of the Boeing 747-200, will receive ground and flight-simulator training at Atlas Airs world-class training center in Miami, Fla. Atlas Air (AAWW) has held the contract and has been providing this service to the Air Force since October 2007.

Air Force One crews provide air transport for the President of the United States. Air Force One, the designated call sign when the president is on board, consists of two specially configured Boeing 747-200B aircraft.
