I chose this photo because it signifies Rhode Island in a very unique way. It was taken at The Pawtucket Arts Festival Pops in the Park, a true Rhode Island Fall celebration, said Larson. It shows the Rhode Island Philharmonic Pops orchestra, a Rhode Island jewel, playing at their last Pops concert of the season.

The Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra is a wonderful Rhode Island institution, stated Joseph J. MarcAurele, Washington Trust Chairman, President and CEO. Through their great music performances and educational programs at the Music School they enrich the lives of our friends and neighbors in Rhode Island, nearby Massachusetts and throughout New England.

The I Luv RI photo contest is sponsored by Washington Trust in conjunction with Rhode Island Monthly. Photographers may enter by sending their favorite Rhode Island photo to: www.rimonthly.com/ILUVRI, or by visiting www.iluvri.com.
