NEWARK, N.J., Sept. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The PSEG Foundation is making $100,000 in grant money available to New Jersey community development organizations to support special projects.
The grants will be awarded in two categories neighborhood revitalization and organizational capacity-building to support a one-time use of funds that meets an immediate need and a longer-term impact. Eligible projects can be stand-alone activities or a discreet part of an ongoing initiative.
"PSEG is committed to improving the quality of life in our cities, as well as supporting the vitality of communities throughout our service area," said Sheila Rostiac, President of the PSEG Foundation.
