- Quit smoking
- Cope better with stress
Were pleased to provide our AARP Essential Premier Health Insurance members with the opportunity to participate in the Simple Steps To A Healthier Life Program, said Ann Bryan, Vice President and head of the AARP-branded program at Aetna. A persons health status can change as they age. This program can help members gain a solid understanding of their health status, identify opportunities for them to achieve their optimal health, and provide the tools and resources to help them achieve realistic health goals.
Take 20 minutes to improve your health
Before starting a new health and wellness program, its important that members know their current health. As part of the health assessment, members will be asked questions about their health history and health habits. Health assessment responses are confidential; however, Aetna does use the information to identify members who may need nurse outreach.
Once the health assessment is complete, members will receive personalized reports based on their results. The reports can help members to:
- Uncover health risks they may not be aware of
- Identify health concerns that need more attention
- Create an action plan to reduce their risks for certain diseases and conditions, and stay healthy
Members can print and share the reports with their doctor, or create customized goals for their personal use.
