Latest Recognition for Companys Technology Achievements Include Third Emmy Award and Second Communications Technology Platinum Award
ACTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SeaChange International (Nasdaq: SEAC), a leading global multi-screen video software innovator, today announced that its breakthrough Nucleus" Soft Box gateway was named the Best Innovation in Customer Premises Equipment in the fifth annual TelcoTV Vision Awards. Winners were announced last week in Las Vegas at TelcoTV 2012, the largest conference and expo focused on the U.S. broadband service provider market.
SeaChanges Nucleus" Soft Box is the unifying gateway software that supports the industrys RDK (Reference Development Kit) software environment and vendor ecosystem, and enables video service providers migration from QAM to IP video so they can offer consumers multi-screen media sharing, whole-home DVR, access to online apps and over-the-top content, smartphone and tablet apps that act as the TV remote control, and much more.
SeaChanges In-Home Business General Manager Shiva Patibanda said, Gateways are enabling service providers to enhance the value of their relationship with subscribers who are constantly adding new devices to watch TV and share video content everywhere in the home. SeaChange (SEAC) made an evolutionary leap with our Nucleus introduction and well keep innovating this way so providers can continue to excel across multi-screen subscriber experiences.
