Citi Takes Eight FX Week Best Bank Awards
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Citi (C), the leading global foreign exchange house, has secured top place in eight different categories in FX Weeks annual Best Bank awards. It won more individual awards than any other bank.
It was named the best bank for FX for investors, the best bank for spot FX, the best bank for FX prime brokerage, the best bank for FX in North America, the best bank for USD/JPY, the best bank for emerging Latin American currencies, the best bank for FX research and strategy and the best bank for algorithmic trading.
This tally represents an improvement from last year, when Citi won six awards from FX Week. Citi is obviously delighted and proud to be recognised by FX Week for its achievements in foreign exchange markets in 2012. It underlines both the importance of this business to Citi and our position at the forefront of the industry, said Jeff Feig, global head of G10 FX.
Commenting on the awards, FX Week said, The eight awards leave little doubt of Citis continuing strength in foreign exchange, and its capacity for product innovation and trading expertise in challenging markets.
