Bank of America (BAC) gets welcome news as NY and Delaware drop their objections to the $8.5B settlement over Countrywide MBS, saying new facts have been uncovered. The chances this settlement could get thrown out this month by a judge is one of the last refuges of the BofA bears (if you ask the BofA bulls). Previous: The FHFA drops its objections. Shares +0.7% premarket.
