Shares of Colfax (CFX -2.4%) slip today after the company said late Monday that it and BDT Capital Partners plan to sell a total of about 10M shares between them. CFX will offer 7M shares to raise money for general purposes that may include acquisitions, or paying down debt, while BDT will offer 3M. The underwriters will also have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 500K shares from Colfax and up to an additional 1M shares from BDT Capital. Deutsche Bank is the sole book-runner.
