This market has no concern fro valuation....look at all the momo names at nosebleed levels trading like it's 1999. When valuations don't matter, the end is closing in... You can thank Bernanke and all the FED idiots for the upcoming disaster

Ask Jeremy Grantham about not trying to be the last guy playing musical chairs...or the guys buying CSCO and GE at $75 and $65 /share...Valuations don't matter until they do

Correct. In fact valuations have not mattered for WFM for, um, decades. I would have to be in a coma to be anywhere near that last guy and I think I'd still have enough left for organic food for 9 more lives !

    Wapiti,
do u see anything wrong with the present valuation of CSCO ? yielding 3.3% , enough cash on hand for buybacks increasing dividends , etc.

Good to see strong earnings for WFM and short term validation of our bullish call

"sales are still expected to rise by 11.6% in 2013 and 14.3% in 2014 - higher than its 5-year average"

Do you still believe in this sales guidance?

Yup, from the earnings call revenue grew 13% Y/Y which is already higher than the 11.6% we were expecting. Even if sales were to maintain (which they will likely keep growing) it would meet our original expectation.
