Starbucks (SBUX +1.3%), whose shares are unscathed by partner Green Mountain's (GMCR -37.1%) day of infamy, announces it's acquiring Evolution Fresh, a maker of premium fruit, vegetable, and protein juices, for $30M. Starbucks, which will distribute Evolution's juices in its stores, says the deal is part of an initiative to "build a national Health and Wellness brand."

It would be really interesting to know what multiples SBUX used to determine the value of Evolution Fresh because this will give GMCR bulls a realistic idea of what's the most they would ever get if their dream comes true and sbux buys them. not saying whether it will or wont happen, but either way, I highly doubt the value would be anywhere near the current price despite the recent decline in GMCR.
