Cray (CRAY) is awarded a $188M contract from a University of Illinois research center to build one of the world's most powerful supercomputers, an effort IBM worked on for years before giving up in August. Cray forecasts 2012 revenue of $340M-$360M, with the new contract expected to contribute ~40%. The machine will include parts from Cray, AMD and NVDA. CRAY +17.1% premarket.
